General Counsel
I served as general counsel for Jamestown's 6,000,000 sq. ft. Industry City, a mixed-use commercial campus on the Brooklyn waterfront (from 2020 to 2024). This included complex leases and build-out agreements for prominent tenants, such as William Sonoma's West Elm store, NYU Tisch's 50k sq. ft. Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center, and Brooklyn Kura's sake brewery expansion.
Landlord Representation
I represented prominent Brooklyn waterfront developer Two Trees Management in landlord matters related to thir DUMBO mixed-use neighborhood, 50 West 23rd St office building, and the historic Domino Refinery Campus (from 2015 to 2020). This involved negotiating Class A office leases for 10 Grand St, plus anchor retail agreements with Roberta's pizzeria, Two Hands cafe, Oddfellows Ice Cream Co., and Other Half Brewing.
Lease Drafting
I negotiated and drafted long-term development leases and managed historic renovation projects with the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (from 2012 to 2015). The key projects included the Dock 72 office tower with Rudin & Boston Properties, the New Lab innovation hub, and Crye Precision's military apparel production facility.
